How does the album compare to the Rich Forever mixtape?

Been listening to this album for the last couple of days. The Rich Forever mixtape sounded better imo, but God Forgives... is still pretty dope. Great beat selection as usual. "3 Kings" was fucking horrible and huge letdown (not that I had high expectations to begin with, but still...). "Sixteen" was fucking awesome. An Andre album would be great.

On the whole, 7.5 out of 10. Good beach album. Glad I picked this up.

I admit, this album sold more than I thought it would.

He's got a lot of hype, but I think this is the point where people see Rozay jump the shark. Many people have said "this is the same old Rick formula I recognize well now"

"3 Kings" was such a :bunk:

"Sixteen" is the song.

Been listening to this album everyday. I could do without "911," "Hold Me Back" and "So Sophisticated." Nothing wrong with those songs, but I prefer Ross over more cinematic or smooth beats. The more trap-ish songs, I enjoy in clubs.

EDIT: Wale needs to stop with the spoken word shit.

I deleted Hold me Back, 911 and So Sophisticated after the first listen and bookmarked Amsterdam and Sixteen.

Anyone up for making an Andre3000 verse compilation ?

Does Biggie Smalls hate HipHop???

"Shoulda been a cop, Fukc Hiphop"

I've been wondering what he meant by this.

Naw, he likes hip hop and rap. He was just referring to if he hadn't started rapping he would've been a cop.
So he's cursing it, not that he doesn't like it, just for the sake of it.

def a surprisingly solid album considering how good Rich Forever was. I like it.

basic ross record tho, he still refuses to tread any new water..so he might be on thin ice as far as the fans go, not sure how long they will eat up those same 3 songs over again.

Rich forever is Ross' best work overall so God forgives doesn't compare. God forgive still has its moments though

Its just him tacking a single verse onto everyone else's already popular songs. Really lazy. Shit is so bad it makes Wayne's last Dedication tape look like a focused project. The new Gunplay verse here isn't worth the price of admission. And "Bible On The Dash" is the one track that would actually make sense for Ross to throw a verse on, but instead he just lifted the same song from "106 & Snort" and plopped at the end here for no apparent reason. Its complete trash.

Never even bothered with this album. It's all about "God Forgives and I Don't"

I hope Meek doesn't end of the same way.
