I agree. the last verse kinda works with the video, but not the rest.

the last verse is surreal though, I still get goosebumps when I listen to it every time, no homo.

Agree, although if it's only digital, you can just download the thing somewhere with no loss. No more "oh shit I bought it at the wrong store" bullshit moments. I've had plenty of adventures trying to return non-exclusive versions.

I can take this as confirmation that there is no deluxe physical CD right? I just bought the CD today but haven't opened it yet. Late, I know. I'm just excited that I can now listen to Aesoprock without agonizing about not buying Music for Earthworms with my cheap undergrad ass

Aes had the best album all year. Infinite replay for me.

Sometimes I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, but--

I thought this album was alright and really enjoyed some tracks, but I've found Aesop to be a little boring and predictable now? The album literally sounded EXACTLY like what I expected, which is a problem to me.

I like this album so much I now judge everything else for not rising to its level. Might actually be my favorite album ever.

that third verse, yo. especially on the album with the drumless piano loop, but it's pretty awe-inspiring over this beat too.

Agreed. I've listened to at least one song or the whole album since it's come out. Hopefully he hasn't hit his peak here. Sad to say that I'm a little disappointed with the Kimya Dawson shit so far, wish he would just put another Aesop Rock album out next year instead of this weak collab. It's not gonna on anyones radar.

Doubt we'd see another solo for another few years, but according to teh twitters him and Bob Sonic are working on some new Hail Mary Mallon material so that is something to look forward to. This shit was stellar:
