Re: Texas Rap Thread (New, Old, & Appreciation)
Listening to this today:
Guest features from Meek Mill (chrous only, pretty weak imo), Messy Marv, Styles P, Jim Jones, Freeway, Twista, J Cole & Freddie Gibbs. I really wish Styles & Trae would do a tape together.
Overall, this is pretty meh. Suffers mostly from the beats (generic Lex Luger-lite trap shit) and the ABN rappers that are not Trae, JayTon, or Lil' Boss. There's some joints on it tho:
(Could only find C&S version, sorry )

Re: Texas Rap Thread (New, Old, & Appreciation)
I'd say that's a little harsh. Someone actually uploaded it in TROY, so's I had a chance to listen to it this week. It's not all that but there are some great joints on it like "Third Coast Born" w/ Fat Pat and "Makin' Cash Forever."Shiftshock wrote:i have it.Echo Leader wrote:Anyone have this?

guess you had to be there. its a regional relic. a time capsule and a texas classic, and you would have to understand this album before you could ever grok texas musicShiftshock wrote:i have it.Echo Leader wrote:Anyone have this?

album from houston rapper 2 phace from 1999. If you like yungsta's TYP album or any late 90's wreckshop albums, you will like this album. 2 phace sounds alot like C-Nile from Straight profit records mixed with Lil Keke. THe album isn't a classic but some good shit to jam to in your ride. so don't expect to hear some indept lyrical shit.
its jus poppin trunk fag shit
