between this album, Kendrick's album, and that Pro Era jawn that dropped, i have some more renewed faith in this younger generation.

Used to hate on this guy and thought he was just a Wiz Khalifa with better beats. But he makes pretty interesting music and gets good production. Atmospheric stuff. Hes nothing special as a rapper but that allows the beats to breathe. I like quite a few songs on this but not the songs without drums.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

I know right. I totally underestimated his ability to make a quality album. LongLive had an untimely leak but I think its a good start to 2013. Can't wait to see the impact it will have on the industry. That skirt / kilt whatever you want to call it is bomb btw no homo. It's only a matter of time before it spreads.

definitely would be better over suddenly, fashion killa is easily the gayest song on the album.

Do we all agree that K.R.I.T. took the crown on 1 Train ?

I'm looking forward to Country Cousins with Yelawolf.

DLG, 10 K. Cool
Resolved Question
Does Biggie Smalls hate HipHop???

"Shoulda been a cop, Fukc Hiphop"

I've been wondering what he meant by this.

Rap sucks, HipHop is better

Naw, he likes hip hop and rap. He was just referring to if he hadn't started rapping he would've been a cop.
So he's cursing it, not that he doesn't like it, just for the sake of it.

I thought Krit and Kendric were the only ones that sounded decent on it. I liked kendrics verse more than krits but really wasn't impressed with that track at all.

In theory, this was the best posse cut line up of the year but yeah, they didn't deliver (for me K.R.I.T being the exception).

Caramanica's profile of Yams which explicitly confirms that RNT was viral marketing for Rocky all along

I'd totally agree with this, except I never hated him. Somehow I came across some of his interviews early on and saw that he's actually a really smart kid. There is a series of interviews with him and Danny Brown, he comes off as ignorant BUT asked about a lot of the answers Danny was giving and started directing the camera. Gave me some faith.
