Naa, Pusha still raps better overall. Malice brings more consious raps to the table but Pusha brings more of that unapologetic, brash, authentic street talk. He didn't change since day one. I prefer that type of rap.

not sure if liking the clipse impacts one's opinion of the wrath of caine mixtape. its better than expected but still meh. some of the production is solid, but pusha only shines on guest verses these days. he's too boring over a whole song, let alone an ep/album. I don't really see him putting out a better song than "my god" any time soon, if ever. and i'm a clipse fan, btw.

I mean, I guess. But thats not really the issue. My point was that there are tracks on here that appeal to fans of The Clipse/Re-Up. And if someone enjoys the previous stuff that Pusha has done, it seems silly to just shitcan WOC without even listening to it, because this tape isn't much of a departure from what he's always sounded like.

Ultimately tho, I don't give a fuck if step one ever listens to this or not. Its just a mixtape. And this conversation is probably pointless because I assume that the goal of his initial post was less to diss Pusha, and more made to troll esco about someone ignoring his boyfriend's music.

the Millions track is cool, but still sounds more like a rozay song. pusha got his bars off in it regardless, tho i feel like i detected some drake flow styles in it

im glad it was short though.

a decent mixtape, but I definitely miss the Neptunes production. Clipse music had a certain bounce to it. All this new Pusha stuff lately has either been dark/moody or over a trap beat.

I like Pusha on more of The Neptunes tracks. Too much of that trap sound with his style doesn't work for me. I fux with the Jake One and Illmind tracks though.
