I like it but only half of it. Can you guess which half?
Also, I definitely forgot some names on my list...
OME had a great year and I forgot Illogic's album came out this year too...Oops!

Adrian gave me the hit list, like, ‘For this track, I want you to talk about this. For this track, I want you to talk about this.’ I didn’t have that much time to really brainstorm how I usually do [...] it came out decent.

i'm a bit surprised more people didn't give the new killah priest a listen, tho I was initially just as skeptical as most of you, especially being a double lp.

however it's easily the best wu release in a long ass time and far superior to ghosts and decks latest.

i'd even rank it up there with heavy mental. definitely give it a once over at least.

it's a great album in approximately 10 song intervals. after more than 10 in a row it starts to get a bit samey

The new KP is boring nerd rap. It's not on the same planet as Heavy Mental, and not anywhere near as good as Black August or The Offering.

I've yet to listen to The Night's Gambit. I've been putting it off forever, for no good reason at all.

Changing that today.

I thought last year was great and this year's been even better IMO. These are generally ranked in order of what I listened to the most-

Armand Hammer- Race Music
billy woods- Dour Candy
Ka- Night’s Gambit
Serengeti- Saal
Serengeti- Kenny Dennis LP
Cult Favorite- For Madmen Only
Boldy James- My 1st Chemistry Set
Vince Staples- Stolen Youth
Earl Sweatshirt- Doris
Danny Brown- Old
Aeon Grey- Lead Breakfast
Natti- Still Motion
YC The Cynic- GNK
Chance The Rapper- Acid Rap

EP’s
Open Mike Eagle- Sir Rockabye
Homeboy Sandman- Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent
Homeboy Sandman- All That I Hold Dear
MarQ Spekt- Broken Mazes

billy woods is the rapper of the year and Alchemist is the producer of the year, honorable mention to Serengeti, Elucid, Homeboy Sandman on the rap side and blockhead on the producer side.

The Psychic World of Walter Reed is not only Priest's best album, it's probably the best double LP in rap history and is a top ten Wu album.
