I fucking love Apologies, but dunno that it needs to be longer. Song seems exactly as long as it should/needs to be in terms of the subject matter. Unless you guys just think Mike's got a lot more to apologize for.

Few more thoughts:

Nocan is fucking awesome all over the place on this. Every time I listen to him rap I feel like I forgot how dope he is.

The KAIL song isn't really my thing, but it's pretty damn good at being the thing it is, even if it sounds a bit out of place on the record.

The mixtape is extremely dope and will be my regular driving music for a while. Everyone on the tape is hugely impressive.

Finally got a chance to sit down and listen to this while handling some emails. Gotta say, drinking beer and handling emails is probably the optimal way to enjoy this record. Really really really digging this. Agree with Dids that the Kail jawn seems outta place, but I still played it multiple times.

When I first started getting into "underground" shit, Busdriver was someone I liked cause he was weird. Then I kinda got disinterested in him for whatever reason. But for the last couple years, I've been digging all the shit he's done with Mike and the crew, and his solo shit. Leads me to believe I was dumb for a while.

Again, this is really good work by everyone. Be proud of this shit.

Busdriver for me is great when he's the weirdest element of a song, and hard to deal with when it's just his own weirdness over the course of a song. The contrast he has with Nocan on the Flash Bang Grenada record is a perfect example of that. He's used really, really well on this album, his voice and delivery is so perfect for hooks and what not.
