Need Some Help
So I'm just getting started dabbling with beat-making. I just placed my order for the Maschine Mikro2 and I'll be using that and my macbook pro. What else am I finna need to get started. like software and whatnot. I'm willing to spend some money if I can't find it for free online but I'd rather not spend 1000 dollars if I can avoid it. thanks.

thats really all you need to start with.
Maybe some vst's that you should be able to find online. I chop samples in a program called sony soundforge and I swear by it...but I don't recall if it's offered on Mac.

yeah, you're pretty much good out of the box. i like the maschine software a lot but i also use a program called Reaper sometimes. it's free. in terms of other hardware, an audio interface is nice to have if you want to plug in a mic or instrument and it makes sampling audio playing in other programs on your computer easier. they start around $100-150.
