I think he's better than "an ok rapper." That EP is fire. Fact is, if that was Nas, it would be the best project Nas has put out in years.Sebastion Shaw wrote:The hype machine did a great job with him. That's really the only reason dude was even in conversations. He's an ok rapper but folks didn't even talk about his music. They talking about "Is this Nas'
If he builds a career or gets additional press off of this beyond the fact I'll be impressed.

People might not want to admit this, but it's true.
And that's coming from somebody who hasn't totally written off Nas' recent body of work like a lot of people have. He always has great songs ... it's just a ratio of 50% great songs / 50% what the fuck is this shit.
Let us know how it goes. Perhaps even take a picture of him holding a sign that says "YOD is not nas, mindbender" while you're there.Versive wrote:I'm seeing this fool tonight. He better be good.
Because last Wed. I thought the show was then, drove into the city, ate some Pakistani food, realized the show was not that day, then frustratedly drove back to Long Island. CONSPIRACY!!!!
Eh, rap shows. I avoid them if I can. I'm sure this one will be up on youtube by 2 am tonight.EMCEE DARTH MALEK wrote:can't believe you're not going block.... wear a fake mustache or some shit just go!!!

I'm 37, dude. The thrill of watching live rap performances is pretty much gone. I only go to shows if a friend is playing. Otherwise, I'll pass. I'd rather stay home and watch murder she wrote reruns while I work on my knitting.EMCEE DARTH MALEK wrote:NY's foremost indie producer wrote: Eh, rap shows. I avoid them if I can.
as if rap shows are pulling a kickdoor at your house or something.Blockhead wrote:Eh, rap shows. I avoid them if I can.
Rast is canceling? That's too bad. And, to be clear, he didn't stick me up as much as come over to sell me weed and steal a bunch of coin rolls I had on my dresser. About 40 bucks worth of dimes.drizzle wrote:Well one of the dudes on the bill did allegedly literally stick up yung Block when he was still young Block so ....
although apparently that dude might not make the show
