Voted Atmosphere, but probably would have went with Intuition & Equilibrium if it was on the list.

Rob Sonic - Alice in Thunderdome

(Haven't listened to HMM or YOD all the way through yet though)

Alice In Thunderdome is so great, Rob should be on the rapper of the year poll too with his work there and on Hail Mary Mallon.

Tough choices here. I went with Ab-Soul because of its replay value and how surprised I was at how good it sounds.

CLPPNG: Insane and unflinching from the first second to the last; best West Coast/Los Angeles-based Rap in years.

Is this Meyhem/Buckwild album really this good or is the bork contingency skewing this poll? I didn't even check for it. Definitely should've -- I'm a fan of both artists -- probably misread Buckwild as Buckshot and kept it moving.

Surprised I'm still the only vote for Blueprint.

7. Seez Mics - Cruel Fuel: Cruel Fuel crept up on me like a cleft-handed cutie pie and smacked its way to one of the year's most pioneering, unusual, and invigorating indie Rap album. Seez Mics is a mercurial master of ceremony whose probity he himself is probing, poking, and prodding through plentiful puns playing with macabre metaphors. "Human Farm" is definitively my jolly, jarring jam: "I want to see that smile of yours, Two legs bad, Let's get down on all fours, We Are Animals, Who learned to keep score." The melange induces pure merriment hearing Seez Mics make mincemeat of society's pedantic, paranoid Penetration Police. Earnestly, eerily, enigmatically, eagerly attacking anachronistic angles, Seez Mics stands head-and-shoulders above the ducks doused in dandruff.

Cute alliterations, brah. I think you mean "one of the year's most pioneering, unusual, and invigorating indie Rap albums"

Didn't vote for it, but yeah, if you're a fan of those artists then its actually pretty damn good.

I went with Droog. Tough choice. The Ab Soul album was a step down from his prev release imho.

Found myself bumping the Doppelgangaz the most, but many of these albums have joints I played to death on them
