Cel-Man Iller: Light Of The Darkness Mixtape

Post by MidWestHype »

This is a mixtape where rapper Mitsurugi Kazumaru tries to allow both his Cel-Man Iller and Little Boy Satan persona coexist. Picture this: The end result is a mash up of traxXx created, written, and recorded in the middle of a pentagram, selling a soul and sacrificing a first born. Lyrics are over the top and edgy. Simple yet witty. Cel-Man Iller is known for much better lyricism than this but in his own words stated that, "I didn't want to constantly come out with a mixtape where I'm just a dude using these big words with these dope beats and people are like, 'YEAH this is dope!' but once they leave my presence, 'I don't know what that nigga was talking about though in his raps.' So this is like...a dumbed down version of Cel-Man honestly...it hurt to do it but...-shrugs-" This is the mixtape he made for everyone to enjoy and vibe to while still carrying around his Horrorcore, acid rap status. It's a 14 track mixtape, though on the Peanut Butter Mech BandCamp you will notice it only has 13. Apparently the Charlie Sheen Status single is apart of the mixtape as well but due to an offer from iTunes was distributed separately to increase revenue. The emcee also had this to say, "Fans have known me for versatile lyrics in the past, the only difference between that and this mixtape is all of my old work had a monotone feel to it, as if I had the wording and was working on a delivery. This mixtape has/delivery/Flubeum/lyrics. 3 key elements, The Prunes gotta bring the grafitti now.

There is an expansion pack to the album coming soon titled Light Of The Darkness: Six Sick Shits. Unlike the prior installment it won't be 'Cel-Man's' mixtape but instead L.B.S'. 'Production for it is going quite well, got some new engineering techniques down so mixing will go way better and people won't be complaining about the vocals being to loud now.' So keep a look out for it, there is one track on the bandcamp promoting the song titled "Punch A Fucking Baby [Spray On Condoms/Old School Pussy]
A horribly mixed song with a horrible message, about possessions, murder, dismemberment, rape, sodomy, drugs, the only thing we don't hear about is money and cars in the song. The song is the most obnoxious piece of work I've ever heard but apparently that will be the most obscene song on the mixtape...we think.

Here is a leak from the upcoming EP, Dissonant Dissidence, by myself and French MC/Producer Noventa.

This song is called Infected Soul (A Lost Tale). We both produced it - I chopped and laid down the samples, he did the drums and everything else - and both rap on it. Enjoy.

The EP should be out before the end of the year.

Grandpa Funnybook's Mix-Tapingly Arranged Rapping Song Album 2: Dyadic Dynamite returns to the fun formula of last year's successful first volume of the series, a mixtape of hip hop compiled to please the nerdy crowds at Fan Expo in order to commemorate the first appearance of Hand'Solo Records at the Toronto sci-fi/comic book convention. Once again returning to Fan Expo, Hand'Solo Records celebrates with volume 2, spearheaded by Wordburglar and hosted by Grandpa Funnybook, Burg's hilarious homage to Marvel mastermind Stan Lee. Dyadic Dynamite features banging boom bap beats and witty lyrics about cartoons, comics, Klingons, time machines,Transformers, zombies and Zentraedi, alongside plenty of pop-culture braggadocio. As with all sequels, volume 2 notches up the action with an increased number of new songs and remixes, featuring Wordburglar and some his Backburner brethren (More Or Les, Ghettosocks, Jesse Dangerously, Swamp Thing, Fresh Kils and Frank Deluxe), nerdcore stalwarts such as Beefy, Death*Star and Garthim-Master, and hip hop heads like CasUno, Touch and El Da Sensei, emcees who only occasionally speak geek. Inspired by Giant Size X-Men #1, the cover art was supplied by Kody Peters, again, with the mix handled this time by Peter Project (Sound Battle Royale 2010 winner).

The limited edition CD was released first at Fan Expo on the weekend of August 23-26, although all remaining hardcopies are now available for only $5 alongside the FREE DOWNLOAD of the digital album found on Bandcamp.

HAIL! Fredonia Records, a student run record label at Fredonia University, have created their rendition of the classic Badfinger hit, “Sweet Tuesday Morning.” Ladies First members Savannah King and Mary Ramsey (vocalist of 10,000 Maniacs) join forces with Joey Molland of Badfinger for this unique collaboration. All proceeds benefit WhyHunger, a global not-for-profit organization fighting to end hunger and poverty. This special rendition by Ladies First featuring Joey Molland is available exclusively through iTunes right now! http://apple.co/1xTkbnv" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
