I don't fuck with him except for this album. Classic. It's almost like nobody could do no wrong in 95. I was riding with a friend named Fat Joe (but Italian from bensonhurst) listening to this album when he wrecked the car. Tape got stuck in the deck so this shit stayed in heavy rotation.
Re: thoughts on this album? (j.o.e.)
Fat Joe's best album hands down. Plus the vinyl B-Sides and guest appearances from this era >>>. Pun a co. definitely lent their pen game to this album. The growth lyrically is too great from represent to J-O-E

Without a doubt his best. Great album, a solid 4 mics. Love that he included the Shit is Real Remix. If he added Fire Water it really might have pushed it up to 4.5. The production is top notch.. Love The Dedication, always like when dudes show love.

I remember liking individual songs rather than thinking of it as an album I'm gonna play from front to back alot, though I agree it's a good album overall. My favorites to keep in rotation were Bronx Tale, Firewater, Premier's Remix of Success, Fat Joe's In Town.
Here's Joe talkin bout when he see Wendy Williams he's gonna knock her out during an promo interview for J.O.E. at WNYU radio.
