i haven't been around the board in a while but it seems like not much new stuff has been discussed. has anything worthwhile come out recently?

any new artists catching your attention?

If you like Curren$y he's dropped a mixtape in September, October and November. I'm a big Curren$y fan so I'm partial, but the mixtapes are good.

I'm currently listening to:

Jeezy- Trap or Die 3
Dave East- Kairi Chanel
Meek Mill- Dreamchasers 4
The Tribe album
Curren$y

The new Lox album comes out tomorrow. We'll see how that pans out.

I'm really looking forward to the new Run the Jewels.

Other than that, it seems dead right now really.

Take a listen to No Ideas Original and Take It Personal radio, they dig up some cool stuff if your looking for a rugged East Coast boom bap sound.

There is a new Smoke DZA & Pete Rock album that people seem to like. I have not heard it yet but will be ordering it soon.

As I get older I find myself checking less new stuff. Happy listening to the 900+ cds I already have. Only albums I have heard from this year are the Havoc & Alchemist which is good but the replay value is minimal, and the L'Orange & Mr. Lif which was average. And FLYGOD which is good.
