I feel DMC's pain in terms of the negative impact of this generation's "hip Hop" on young adults who don't know any better.
For all the music I don't like in the mainstream, I've learned not to complain but just let it bee and either ignore it or look at it as general entertainment. For instance, I may not like such-and-such rapper's music but at least I can laugh when they get robbed, extorted or beat up in public on social media.

I used to hate on new music a few years ago but I've come to learn that I can almost always find something I like from any given artist. Even if a majority of the shit is trash, I will like a song here or there. Hip Hop as we all know it died a slow death around 1997. But to dwell on that shit is asinine. Live and let live. Esp for the kids man. They have their thing. Let them enjoy it. We had ours and we def enjoyed so fuck it.
