His voice is less annoying than most of the other guys.

WSG just dropped Hitler 6. Digital & physical up on his site.

Production looks like a mix between Alchemist, Daringer, & Sadhu Gold. Mainly Benny features.

It's pretty decent. Although not £15.68 decent. Guy has been drinking his own Kool Aid.

Conway still been killing it on the low, FOOD marketing etc was horrible (I just got the CD I ordered in August), shit's only on youtube, but it's fire-

Bullet Holez in my Neck prod. Daringer
Slapbox prod. Daringer
Piper prod. Pete Rock
Dirty Skit
ODB prod. Daringer
Land O' Lakes ft. Busta Rhymes prod. Daringer
The Scorpion prod. DJ Green Lantern
Fat Freddy prod. Daringer
Sky Joint 2 ft. Skyzoo prod. Statik Selektah
212 ft. Elzhi prod. Daringer
Sigel in State Prop prod. Daringer

Green Lantern and Stakik tracks are predictably the only two that aren't flames. Slapbox is one of the best story raps I've heard in years, Elzhi and Busta collabs are flames.

Shame to not see him on the new Westside, definitely lacking because of it. He had a picture at Def Jam recently, I wonder if he's looking for an his own deal outside of GXFR. They've really promoted him poorly since he really gave them the buzz they needed to get the Shady deal. He may be a one trick pony, but he's as good at that one trick as he's ever been, people just expecting something different.

This new Lucky Seven project has GXFR features all over it and is pretty fantastic really, peep-

Complete disagree with this notion that Conway is still putting out quality material and is just not being marketed right. Since shortly before GOAT came out, the quality of his work has just completely fallen off. Compare him in 2016 to now, it's like a different rapper. He has no emotion or energy in his work at all. Shit is just depressing.

you're just pushing a narrative, it's like you haven't even listened to the tracks. How can you hate on a song like Slapbox???

We get it, you don't like Conway. Some of us still do, let us enjoy him.

No. Have listened to all of his recent releases, multiple times.

Not saying I don't like him. I'm saying his releases over the last couple of years have been noticeably weaker than when he first broke out.

why would you listen multiple times to shit you're not feeling? how many times does it take? You just seem more interested in piling on Conway than promoting anything else and it's fucking annoying.

I tend to agree with R4R here about the quality of Conway's music and I would use the exact same reasoning, lack of energy, sounds uninspired and not hungry anymore. Honestly haven't listened to an abundance of Griselda music but it seems to definitely all blend together into one to me. This shit is just boring to me and really average. I find myself pretty bored with most rap music recently though so I am not the best judge.

In short I think Conway and most of these guys should worry less about how hard their beats are and how street their lyrics are and learn to make enjoyable music. I will give this mixtape a real listen and get back to you but slapbox off one listen is a snoozer

i'm with R4R here too, it feels like Conway lost his momentum and his stuff doesn't really grab me that much any more. I don't even anticipate his releases anymore, although I still check in when they drop. Benny is the only one from this crew that I still really look forward to hearing from.

The only "narrative" here is you like the taste of Conway's dick.

I think Conway needs to do exactly the opposite, personally. He's a one-trick-pony, but I think that trick still has mileage. Stick to shortish albums, get Daringer to do the beats, and get people to guest who fit the sound a little better - not Lloyd Banks or Elzhi. Slapbox is actually probably the closest thing to something from Reject 2 and that's personally what I want to hear more of.

But yeah, started losing interest after GOAT.

I’m still a fan, is he better than Benny now? Prolly not, but it’s a lot closer to me than it is to y’all, and I’m good w/ that. Just feel like peeps have unreasonable expectations or overrated what he was in the first place. He’s a crime rap technician w/ great sports references, he really hasn’t changed to me, just gotta be in the mood for it.

yea something like this. i'm all for artists growing but i don't think these guys are capable of much more than what put them on the map.

That ten minute long Untitled Drums EP was probably the best thing Conway put out post The Blakk Tape. Crazy how many guest verses he laced in 2018 along with Everybody is F.O.O.D. and none of it stuck with me.

I don't think any of these guys are true legit solo artists, I just think if you are going to drop ten albums a year you should try to come with some new sounds or just stick to being a feature artist
