I voted EPMD, but I shoulda went with Run DMC. mos def and talib kweli, and DE LA should have been on here- and BLACK SHEEP! They were supposed to drop an new album like 3 or 4 years ago, what the fuck happened to that? Anybody know? Dres and Sugar Dick Daddy could have been the illest of the native toungues in their time, if they had stayed consistent and kept putting shit out.... then again I dont know if sugar dick daddy really counts as an MC.

GOT DAMN RIGHT!!! this two have the best chemistry of any two emcees ever. i've heard a couple tracks where pos (hip hop for respect) or dave(mr. complex track) do their thing without the other and, although it was still tight, it just wasn't the same. The Iron Sheik wrote:
If you decided to allow Phife and Q-Tip as a selection, surely you could've put up Posdnous and Trugoy by these same standards?
and yes, black star has to be up there. what about das efx? i mean, they're not the dopest emcees, but they are a duo and can only make music as a duo. i mean, it's a package deal. could you ever image them doing solo projects?
what about blue black and asheru?
black sheep?
bush babees? (minus the reggae cat who does the hooks)
people under the stairs?
camp lo?
the original choices given are all good groups who have made bug contributions to hip hop in the past but epmd...yeah-they had dope tracks but eric and perrish as emcees just aren't that dope to me.
when it comes to organized confusion, yes-they were dope but i think pharoahe has made much better music since he's been solo.
i dunno who the dopest dou ever is....but taking into consideration how compatible two emcees are with each other, their skill and delivery as individuals, beats, and overall quality of their music, i would have to go with camp lo.
this month the good luck's and big up's go to:
the san diego chargers and
kazushi sakuraba
