Green light
fast car
clean engine
bbbrrr, zoom
streets, roads, unfold as blurred strangers cross

twelve tourists followed by a fat lady

as police car changes direction
with sirens flashing; lights pinpointed

A man with a light jacket and a heavy latte
sees the squad car and turns around
the sun passes through the clouds
and a nice summer breeze
