Big Horn, Little Horn-- a fruityloops beat...

Post by bizzlestiltskin »

I just made another beat today in fruityloops. I think this one is better than the other ones I posted.

I need to get busy on some feedback for you guys. Gimme a couple days and I'll have listened to most everything.

diggin, drums are tight, mix is poignant sounds a bit empty when that horn hits and stuff doesn't follow it up. to me this needs a more solid bassline to keep it in line. dope track though, i can definitely see an mc over this ish. pzzz

I dig the elements you got going in here, but I'm not sure if I like the reverb on this. I also think this track would benefit from a deep, gritty bassline and maybe some crazy drum chanegups once in a while, 'cause right now it seems kinda empty. I agree that this could make a dope battle track.

peace

loving big horn little horn, dope sample.... reminds me of like a martial arts showdown or something, the drums really stood out to me tho...

i also peeped alone, i liked it, i jsut think the vocal sample was used too much

the mix is cool and all that but my main thing with it, is it may be overly chopped and repetitive. i can see what you were going for but it needs a little more smoothness or ruggedness. Its caught inbetween a wu tang vibe and a pete rockish vibe.

Hey. I am actually feeling this. This is tight. The chops are well done and there are just enough changes to keep it moving. As for the hats. It could use a little variation during section changes or something but overall someone could spit nice to this. I am on walkman headphones so I don't know what is going on basswise but as long as that is in check this is solid work.
