And for all the DJ Mustard love in here, no mention of TeeFlii's potential ascension to industry dominance?

Willie The Kid - Aquamarine
Kevin Gates - Stranger Than Fiction

Drake feat Tit & Big Sean - All Me
Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home
Weeknd feat Drake - Live For
Big Sean - 10 2 10
^ Beat is one of the rawest things I've heard all year.

Los feat Wiz - Burn Slow

BeatKing - No Chill

Nispey Hussle - Face the World
Nipsey Hussle - Blessings
Nipsey Hussle - Change Nothing
^ Love these records, particularly in this sucession. Change Nothing beat will only make sense in a car stereo or headphones.

Droop-E - Ridin' Solo
Taj He Spitz - My Comprehension

Lil Pooh feat Lil Mook - I'm Runnin'
^ Drizzle gave praise to Lil Pooh earlier, and while I would like to agree, he just sounds different on everything you hear him on. I prefer his persona on I'm Runnin' and Pump Fake to whatever he's doing on Country Nigga and that tape about smoking weed or whatever. Still, this has gotten burn all summer.
Boston George & Boo Rosinni - Strip Club
^ Didn't want to like this because BG's borrowed style but really the record is undeniable.
Mack Maine - Up Until Then
Hollygrove Mikey feat Mack Maine - Open Letter
Lito feat Petty - One Long Day
^ On this verse, Petty sounds like Don Trip if Don Trip was a better writer and was blessed with a flow. Not bad.

Jim Jones - Get Money
The Lox - Summers Too Hot
^Troy Ave did the same thing, and while I appreciate the sentiment, The Lox executed this much better

RiFF RaFF x Lex Luger - Shoulda Played for the Hawks

Shadowrunners (Himself the Majestic & Froskees) - Flip Phone

Teeflii feat. Dom Kennedy - Better Know (Prod By DJ Mustard)
Bionic feat Dom Kennedy - Cheerios
Dom Kennedy - Never
Wale feat Dom Kennedy & YG - Hella
^ "The Yellow Album" was grossly underappreciated. I don't know if he has any consistency, but judging by his recent verses Dom might be gearing up to something nice on Get Home Safetly.

That Dorrough joint Ack' posted is the first cut I've liked by him since Bad with Travis Porter.

This new Gotti 'tape is almost entirely boring. It can't be a coincidence that he got REALLY good on CM 4.5 when he started wearing selvedge Levi's and has pretty much shit the bed here now he's started wearing True Religions.

Gotti has always had the capacity to be boring. He toggles between utter blandness and being the rillest nigga breathin without warning.

After initially being drawn to The Shooter, my fave cut on that A-Wax album is Buffalo Bill :

Trialz off the new Joe Blow is my shit. Who does the hook on that? Voice sounds familiar.

Couldn't really get into the Boldy James stuff I tried back in 2011 (too earnest sounding), but this is great on some Ebonics 2013 type shit :

Boldy James - Moochie (produced by Alchemist)

Good to see the spirit of QB Dunn-Rap lives on in out in the midwest.

I think all Bay Area rappers are required to rhyme over Sexual Harassment's I Need A Freak at least once in their career :

DB Tha General - No CB4

Also on the Bay tip, why is IamSu's bonus track on 2 Chainz's album better than anything on IamSu's 2013 mixtapes and 2 Chainz album itself?

2 Chainz w/ IamSu - Living

Did anyone rip the audio of that Que Tha Truth song Rey posted? It won't seem to play on YouTube anymore

King Chip - Police In The Trunk

This dude didn't make anything this good when he used to go by the name of Chip The Ripper, right?

Also love Gas and Where The Fuck? from the Project Pat mixtape.

This dude HD loves movies don't he? I don't watch sports anymore but I love when rappers like Cormega name drop athletes/ teams in rap songs. Alternatively, HD of Bearfaced prefers to sprinkle in references from whatever DVD he just watched. Has he ever addressed this in an interview with 100grand or one of those websites? I mean, it's not even all gangster shit, he's talking about Love & Basketball.

Sorry for the sidetrack but this is easily one of my favorite releases of the year. I was initially enamoured with H1N1 and Concurrent but later discovered that the rest of the songs around it weren't half bad either. In fact this is my favorite HD material since, "Extortion Muzik 3."

He had his moments. I outlined a few in the past.

^ the youtube / divshare links in that post are FUBAR but the song titles remain.

i just recently found out that MC Eiht dropped an EP this year that has some decent beats and raps on it, though he does say the words "blue stamp" way too many times throughout the album.

Thanx, Rey.

I should probably check that HD album out since I really liked Benny Hannas when Thizzler posted it.

Actually I should probably check HD out more in general since Pursuit Of Happiness is the only album of his in my stash.
