this is reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllly good in my opinion. solid beats, dope lyrics. might not be QUITE as gritty sounding as the first one, but this is fantastic

it's not as gritty sounding, it's also not as minimal. he's progressed a whole lot in that regard, although I'm not sure the hard line traditionalist people will see it as progress. alchemist's recent looser more experimental work seems to have been of some influence on him. if you whined that Ka's album didn't have enough drums beyond what was in the sample, you might be disappointed here.

it will get a lot easier and simpler once the album is actually released commercially on the 13th

album is way smoother than marcberg but it works tremendously well. I actually prefer Roc's beats to anyone else on here. The Tip produced Thread Count is good, but thought it would have been better.

I think he was purposefully trying to create a stripped down take on his own style to fit Marciano's style on Marcberg. The irony here being that Reloaded goes for a much fuller and richer sound so he could've easily done something a bit more lush and it would've been a great fit.

Dope album but my only gripe is that Roc that sounds half asleep on some tracks, I don't think this is as dope as Marcberg...need to listen to it more.

I just finished listening to the first two songs on the album.

If the rest of the album is like this, this definitely will beat a lot of shit I've heard this year. I know I'm saying this prematurely as I've only listened to two songs, but this album has potential to be up there as number one album of the year.

We will see how the rest of the album goes.

Does anybody have a compilation of the random tracks that dropped in 2012 that featured Roc Marciano that aren't on Reloaded?

Tried to avoid all spoilers of this album until it dropped just to enjoy it more, only to notice a lot of shit that dropped in the past months isn't on it.
