It's a dope album. Especially when you compare it to the usual crap major labels drop. I thought it was way better than Speakerboxx, which I didn't like too much.

I think the only real misstep on the album is the track with Jamie Foxx.

Hell nah, Hustle Blood is straight. At least one R&Bish track was needed.

Really good fucking album.
Just bought this, new Roots, new Janelle Monae and newest Flying Lotus.
Music for the summer!

Needs to closed out with Curren$y, though.

EDIT: Favourite Fat Sacks verse as of right now:
Just to let you know that everything is straight
I say stank you very much 'cause we appreciate the hate
Now go get yourself a handgun, you fuckin wit a great
Put it your mouth and squeeze it like your morning toothpaste {*gunshot*}
Kill yo'self like Sean Kingston, suicidal for a title
My recitals are vital and maybe needed for survival
Like the Bible or any other good book that you read
Why are 75% of our youth readin magazines?
'Cause they used to fantasy, and that's what they do to dream
Call it fiction addiction 'cause the truth is a heavy thing!
'member when the levee scream, made the folks evacua-ezz
Yeah, I'm still speakin about it 'cause New Orleans ain't clean
When we shout Dirty South, I don't think that is what we mean
I mean, it mean the roguh, the tough, the DANGEROUS, we reign SUPREME
Can slaughter entire teams with the ink that my pen bleeds
B-I-G, B-O-I - nigga, please!

As an added bonus, the lyrics to all the songs are included in the cd booklet. The album sounds marvelous so far.

bro-signed.

hella fucking dope album, especially considering how wack most people are these days, but it's not as good as Stankonia, yes.

I wish he got more controversial with some of his verses, but Big Boi can say nothing on a track and make it sound AMAZING.

 to him sampling Andre 3000 on the first track

just a great piece of work, all around. peace to Daddy Fat Sacks

Dope album...even though the tracks with Andre didn't make the cut, it's still one of the better albums I've heard this year.

I was already sold on it the first time I heard Shutterbug, and it lived up to the hype from the singles. I think Shutterbug is still my favorite cut, though. The beats are all great. I am surprised to like an album with a beat by Scott Storch (Shutterbug) and Lil Jon (Hustle Blood) so much, but they really seemed to give Big Boi the best they had.

The only real missteps on here is the some of the guest selections. I have no problem with the T.I. or Gucci Mane cuts. The song with Janelle Monae is really good. But I am not feeling the Vonnegutt or Yellawolf shit at all. (no racist - that shit just doesn't sound good.)

A verse or two from 3000 and a few more Dungeon Family guest spots would have made this so much better. Kudjo Goodie and Sleepy Brown made the album, but I was disappointed there weren't more.

Cee-Lo should have sang on Follow Us and Andre should have been on Ain't No DJ instead.

Still, this is the best rap album I have heard this year.

Big Boi said in some interview:

"If you have ג€œLookin For Yaג€ with stacks and sleepy. It came after ג€œHustleBloodג€, in the album sequence. Add it to your playlist. And ג€œRoyal Flushג€ was the last songג€¦ I wanted Stacks to have the last word."

I might get used to the Yelawolf. I don't know about that Vonegutt singing though.

Yeah, the two bonus songs are not really worth paying for the deluxe version. Theme Song is just that song Ringtone from a few years back renamed. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the hook, but that makes it almost unlistenable. And the Shine Blockas remix is really pointless. If they switched up the beat a little for the remix, that would be cool, but just throwing the same song on with extra verses is not cool, even if it is Bun B.

I don't know why people aren't feelin yela, dude ripped it. Big Boi is an obvious influence on him as well, so you know he wasn't phoning this one in.
