I just got the call. I was lucky enough to tour with eyedea last month...we got pretty close. We stayed in contact pretty frequently. The important thing to say is I know how happy the guy was in the past week. I'm not good at death. I loved that guy.there is a donation site for his family that I will link when I get to a home computer. Its not important how he died. What's important is what he left behind. He was a fucking good ass dude. RIP mikey.

RIP

A great freestyler and one of the more accomplished battle MCs ever. Music was a little too abstract for my taste but he certainly was creative.

I couldn't imagine why M2C was receiving all this traffic on a Sunday afternoon and then I logged in to see this thread. Really shitty news. I can't say I knew a lot about him as a rapper but he was cool when I met him and he seemed to really be comfortable with his career path. Nobody this young should die.

RIP

Yep, I was going to post that one, very sad news, he was dope and an intelligent lyricist, "Even Shadows Have Shadows" helped me through some hard times.

smells like an OD, unless you man up and say otherwise
When somebody who isn't old/in bad health dies unexpectedly- there's going to be questions, and the more people in the know say shit like this it only raises suspicion. Don't be coy or preachy, just don't say shit at all.

Obviously this is way tragic. Dude was super talented.
