Catfish - you got the 601 CD Boo/Boo Rossini did when he was affiliated with Concentration Camp? If so, up that shit because I can't find it and don't want to pay $40 for it if it turns out to be just aiight.
Id easily pay $40 for a copy of 601 right now. Its excellent. When I was a teenager we used to go cop quarter pounds from Rossini every week to bring back home and sell. He had a trap house on Queen Eleanor St (in David Banners old neighborhood) where you could always get good green or powder. Boo got on back when he was in high school fucking an older woman who owned a bar. She gave Boo her old Lexus and the rest is history.

Ill definitely try to ask some friends if anybody has a copy of 601. It was actually one of Happy Ps best album production wise and whats not to like about an album with lines like "sleeping on hardwood floors made my flow hardcore".

I cant wait to hear the new Max shit. I had heard he had a falling out with Hap about Happy leasing beats to Max in the past but last time I saw Max during the Final Four in New Orleans he told me he an Hap was still goin in.

some really fucking old Boo back when Jacktown was still on that gang life

they somehow managed to pick the song i liked least on Boo 601 as the one song that made its way on to youtube. 601 was a beast. My favorite songs were Count Dat, Im A, Recognize My Team and this:

I do not have a link for it. Ive got a copy of it on my old zune (nh) and my boy put it on my iphone. I may be able to track a copy down to rip but its gonna take some effort on my part. Finding a physical copy of it would make my month though.

Found a working link for the Lay-Lo album:

Lay-Lo - Simple & Plain

Checked on Amazon & there are a couple of sealed copies of this joint for 20$.

Echo Leader - I'll upload you the Lay-Lo album later today if you want. *Edit* - oh, never mind.

Gotta say, though, that the sequel to Better Than The Last Time on there is really disappointing; both Max and J-Von kill it but they really cocked up the beat by adding all the changes - shoulda just rhymed over the original.

This was the song which first got me into Boosie back in 2004 :

Body Head Bangerz ft. Young Bleed & Lil' Boosie - I Smoke, I Drank

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/C9ZRd-TKPZA?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/C9ZRd-TKPZA?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

This was the first and only time Bleed and Boosie ever appeared together on the same track, right?

I wish they hadnt done the remix with Roy Jones Jr on it. As far as I know Bleed was living in the Bay Area/San Antonio doing some recording at that time and wasnt working with as many BR rappers so that may explain why he and Boosie never collaborated as much. This was also at the time that Boosie and Webbie signed with Trill and did Ghetto Stories.

Little known fact - I Smoke, I Drank originally started life as a semi-sequel to Do It Big :

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/k46FzTkfYds?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/k46FzTkfYds?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

We need Blastmaster in this thread too. Until then, here's Lil' Phat's best song :

Lil' Phat - I Do My Shit

If we're talkin' the S.C.C, then we have to discuss T-Bo & Mike Da Hustla's Who Dem Boys? album. The Licensed To Ill of southern moonshine & rhinestones whigga-rap :

T-Bo & Mike Da Hustla w/ S.C.C - Bad Ass White Boyz

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1PgetDHQFxA?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1PgetDHQFxA?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

^^ Classic whigga-rap posse track and the 2nd best Drag 'Em In The River homage ever after Juve's Set It Off

T-Bo & Mike Da Hustla W/ Mr Murder - Who Dem Boys?

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QF-hbT2rbgc?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QF-hbT2rbgc?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

^^ Who Dem Boys? indeed as the album had a racially ambiguous cover that every white rapper on Soundclick/MySpace would later attempt to emulate to try and fool ppl that they were Hispanic.

T-Bo & Mike Da Hustla - #1 Headbusters

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3BgtsgRH-2M?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3BgtsgRH-2M?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

^^ Domestic violence is a dirty job, but T-Bo & Mike Da Hustla will bust a bitches head if she talks shit.

T-Bo & Mike Da Hustla w/ Delvin - I Hear Bullets

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pY6l-4nkqIY?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pY6l-4nkqIY?version=3&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

^^ "And I feel hear bullets hummin' through the air tonight
*the airrrrr* ohhh nowww
And I been slingin', I been slingin' on this corner all my liffffffe
ohhh nowww!"

Mayne, hol up. I am digging on "Roll On" way more than I have any right to. White-trash fast-rap is pertinent to my interests and pedigree.

I guess we know now what would happen if someone genetically crossed Intuition with DMX.

Ima with Lay-Lo on Boo's 601 album is fucking incredible. Thanks for the upload, Sleazy J.

some resemblance to Daughtry in there too, like maybe they're long lost twins and one chose rap and the other chose rock but their destiny will soon reunite them

The dvd that came with Trunk Music (long before Yelawolf bit) was wildly entertaining.
they were best known for that "Both Sides Of The Tracks" split album they did with Boosie.
They had a whole split with T-Bo too...

I figured you would enjoy 601. There really isnt a Camp related album with a triple gold framed cover that isnt essential if your a fan of that particular era. Bleed, Concentration Camp, C-Loc, Boo, Boosie etc..

Almost every other weekend those guys would throw "pasture parties" where they would roll out a flatbed trailer in the middle of a rural field, set up a PA and everyone would pull box chevys, 4wheelers, and whatever else in and set up campsites for the night. 8ball had a ranch in Bentonia MS where quite a few legendary shows took place. I remember right after the Concentration Camp album and Bleeds Balls and My Word dropped I went to this one event where so many Camp members and affiliates took the stage on the back of this barn during "How Ya Do Dat" that the whole stage collapsed and Max, Bleed, Loc, Boo and several others took about a 10 foot drop with DJ equiptment and speaker cabinets tumbling on top of everyone. C-Bo performed on that show as well. Hub City drag races was another spot where some classic events took place as well.
