its the same ol depressing cage, the production is the best thing about it but still not something to boast about

i however think this will be considered better than depart from me

got to listen to the album today. i really like the first half. dig the production a lot. but there's some really stupid/silly choruses on some of the songs. regardless, im a fan. always was, still am.

Gave in, downloaded it, about what I expected, dig it more than Depart From Me and I Never Knew You, but far less than everything else he's ever done. Still excited for that Sam Hell EP, assuming it's still coming. Still bummed that Two of Every Animal probably aint happening.

It's more interesting than I thought it'd be. It is unlike his other albums, but I don't hate it, have to give it a few more spins. Cage switches it up a bit with his delivery, has some nice verses all over this, but the hooks and unvaried production make this thing feel half assed.

A HUGE improvement on that last piece of shit record. Would love to hear '98 Cage over these beats.

I like a couple of songs a lot. Ironically, they're two of the more "cheerful" songs: "You Were the Shit" and "In Your Fur"

I'm glad he ditched the more cartoonish voice and delivery, this strange, reserved, almost Ka-esque flow he uses is actually my favorite part of this album. You have to be in the right mood to listen to this, but it's not awful.

I can see this having good use, as a positive bridge in the life of some emo fag types who've never listened to rap.

the little bit I listened to is just cornball city as far as the lyrics go. some remedial mothergoose for depressed homos type shit.

I liked this a little more than I thought I would. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back, just cause I'm not clinically depressed, but it's a solid album. The production is 1000X than his last album.

Surprised me with this one, honestly I wasn't expecting to hear cage with this type of style.

yeah i gotta say now, this album isnt that bad at all really you just gotta be in the mood for some dark type steez, which has been cages style all along anyways, even with depart with me it was like that (the punk fusion threw people off), hip hop heads are just picky motherfuckers, as i said before though, i think heads will appreciate this album more eventually
