Is that just a weird Wiki hiccup, or was there really a five year delay for it to officially drop overseas? Any idea why?

Facebook memories came up with this from 2010 on my page. I remember pretty much any late 80's early 90's YO MTV Raps stuff because it was either after school or late night and my curfew up until 9th grade was 10 PM so I was always home watching that shit.

So, where was everyone when they found out Pac died? I did this piece for the radio station I'm on about it - http://go963mn.com/news/2016/where-were ... -2pac-died" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I was in my boys hooptie driving around smoking blunts when Angie Martinez announced it on the radio. Around 6pm that Friday the 13th. She was in tears.

Honestly thought Nas' dungaree phase came much later on.
I think I was listening to Westwood in some student digs when I heard the news about Pac's death.

Re: Which is your favorite 2PAC album?
-makaveli was the first time i ever listened to a 2pac album front to back
-"same song" and "if my homie calls" were the first two 2pac songs i ever heard
-i forget where i was when i heard he got shot, but i thought that it killed him that very day. turns out a week later i was
in a history class in school and for some odd reason our teacher told us 2pac died in the hospital that day.
he (teacher) was probably just reading the daily news for us or something. so i remember where i was the day he was
pronounced dead.
-i had a friend who was heavy into 2pac around '97 / 98 when i met dude. though, he was a fan before me meeting him.
a mutual friend of ours found a cd called "makaveli: One nation"
at a record store, which i later found out was a mismatched collection of loose unreleased tracks but of great CDQ quality.
i then went to ebay and found some CDs of unreleased 2Pac songs, bought a few and started collecting and categorizing that mess of a
collection. i don't even think those friends knew what ebay was back then. most of those songs were of bad audio quality and
also ended up getting remixed with different non-90s production sounding beats for his posthumous albums.
i should probably check out strictly and me against the world.

The day 2Pac died was the day I found out about 2Pac in general. Before that, I think I'd only noticed him as the villain in Above The Rim.
Definitely became a fanboy the year after he died. Had a GeoCities Pac/Biggie memorial fanpage and all that. Lol.
