lol @ "the Beatminerz not putting out any good beats in years".....

go listen to some of their recent remix albums like Alter The Chemistry or Unmarked Music Vol.1.....your trippin'....just cause they've fallen back a bit and is DJing clubs more don't get it twisted, they still bring some ill ass boom bap for that ass...[/quote]

Alter the Chemistry and Unmarked Music, each, have like 2-3 good beats...and someone mentioned Crystal Stair...Crystal Stair is good and so is Toolz of the Trade, but in comparison to the golden era, what beatminerz beats have really stood out in the last 5 years?...i love the beatminerz...just not any of their new sh*t...

Beatminerz have been trash for a while. Fully Loaded With Static is one of the worst pieces of music ever created.

I haven't completey written them off though. The beat they had on Craig G's album from 2003 was ridiculously good.

^ truth. like I said, I heard the beats they submitted and they were awful.

I think the album's ok, but not at all what I was hoping for. Half of the beats I can't really fuck with...but the other half is solid...

doubt I'll listen to it again.

The Chris Benoit thing is the best line I've heard all year

Enjoyable but the production is spotty, which will hurt the replay value in the long run

I really like how this was put together though, almost more than the music itself. Both of them are clearly enjoying themselves, they sound focused, there's no skits, not much guest appearances, no bloated tracklist with tons of filler. Even though I don't like some of the beats, the album definitely has a cohesive feel. It seems like they had a good idea of what they wanted to make and how they wanted it to sound, and stuck to it

yeah I whole heartedly agree.. the beatminerz have been average at best for more than I care to remember. HOWEVER in their defense they fell victim to sample clearance issues so many times and it wasn't like they couldn't clear a diana ross sample, we're talking like private press euro jazz and library records.. They were one of the biggest production crews in hip hop, I guess the magnifying glass was held over them a bit too close.

Crystal Stair>99% of all beats. ever.

This album is dope. Production is underground and that's fine by me. They kind of remind of Red and Meth these days.

Yea awhile back i was hating pretty hard on the Smiff "Reloaded" album...but its grown on me. And its got some fucking ILL cuts on it(crystal stair being one of them). I had no clue that beatminerz did that beat

IT's dope I just wish they had better production on alot of songs. But both Rock & Ruck are on point. Rock especially.

I usually prefer Rock but Seans verses was much better this time around, IMO.

There's no terrible beats and no amazing beats.

Whoever said it reminded them of Blackout! was on point. One thing that hurts it for me is that there aren't as many concepts or songs about things other than droppin' punchlines about fuckin' you up. I know they've always been heavy on that shit, but there was much more variety on Nocturnal and Magnum Force. Most of the beats are good to me, it's just that there's a little too much '99 Canibus production in here for me.

Anyway, I like it, don't love it... not clear on how much I'll listen to it.

Rock & Ruck still kill shit though.

oh shit, I knew that sounded familiar but I kept thinking it was some 90's thriller. Smart flip.

I like it the more I listen to it, but I'm not really feeling "Twinz" or "Ruck and Roll", there should have been more Marco Polo beats and yes, Da Beatminerz.

There were some definite cheap beats in there. But, it still was energetic and Sean Price was killing it per usual.

id say half were ok but id rather hear the whole thing with some grimier shit. the only beat i think i actually like is so damn tuff. the others range from passable to garbage.

The "Bow chicka wow wow" line had me in tears.

the album is better than i expected but some of the production as already stated is kinda weak. rock really outshined sean p on this one IMO. it may be because Sean P has dropped much more material within the last five years or so than Rock, or that he uses a lot of the same words in his rhymes throughout all his albums, but in any case, Rock really impressed me on this one.

not sure how much replay it'll get, but definitely feelin it on first couple of listens
