i tried and i can't listen to either of them rap for any extended period of time. they should've just made this a producer driven album and farmed the beats out to better rappers.

Video's ill....really ill. As I said earlier though, this one and the G Rap song are the only songs I could see getting a lot of run from me.

Such a shame that producers continue to think that rapping is some sort of natural progression for themselves. Some seriously lush beat though. I'm going to have this in rotation but Alchemist needs to just quit on the mic. I blame this trend on Diddy. Yes there were producers that rapped before him, but I believe that he was the first that was truly terrible at it. Fucking hot garbage terrible yo.

Dope but I think the first album is better, not really a fan of AlC on the mic to be honest.

Alchemist did this beat and Jump around. It's called Ghost Producing when young producers who have little credibility and respect in the business produce beats for other better-known producers in order to get more opportunities to work in the studio. Rap music's best kept secret (or maybe worst kept, since I've known for years)

is that Alchemist produced "Jump Around."
 I had no idea that Alchemist was producing when he was like 15.

LOVE this new album. made me revisit the Gutter Waters album and Sawblade EP and they are dope as fuck too..

im def not an Alc fan as far as rapping goes, but these albums have made me a big Oh No fan. i only knew of him as a producer before and slept on The Disrupt back in the day..always mixed him up with Wildchild..

Vodka & Ayahuasca is a serious fuckin album. This and Gutter Water are two of the best produced albums to come out in the past several years.

Some of y'all put too much emphasis on the lyrics. Alchemist and Oh No in particular are perfectly fine rappers, their deliveries are proper and they flow well over the beats with good enough lyrics. Perfectly listenable and they match the ferocious beats, not to mention the guest features add to it.
