lil too much goin on but u could make it sound cool by runnin the samples thru a LPF or side chaining maybe so the drums pop and the samples kinda rhythmically come in and out.

really? that would be tight if you did lol. yeah i had a mic before this that was like a telemarketing headset lol so when i got this 70 dollar mic at radio shack i thought it would be a step up but it's not really cutting it..

Lol I mean, I was jkn. But for real tho man...there's definitely afforable mics out there these days. Throw one on your list ;) I think they even got chill lil USBmics that plug right in. If you can't get a good signal either, try just cleaning up the audio in a sample editor like Audition or any other DAW. It sounds like the signal is just coming in way too hot and clipped to shite and I wanna be able to hear those ill raps clearer

i mean you should be able to find a 70 dollar mic that sounds better than that...do u have a soundcard? what is it recording through? maybe you just have the input gain turnt up way too loud...

hmm it's probably the program i'm using (acid).. yeah the first thing i'm gonna spend some money on is abelton (just had the demo before) and hopefully recoding sounds better with that..
