I could be very low but who knows. Add that plus touring, merch and future album sales and I'd say this was a very good year for an indie rapper. Probably one of the best ever.
wasn't expecting him to answer that...but 205 each..not bad at all..
Don't take it as anything more than speculation. I have no clue what they had to pay for promo or the press of the albums. They were done very nicely too--had to cost some.

i don't think it will happen.

we have not made as much as gloss wants us to make (thanks for the positive thinking though).

we spent more on the recording of this album than i care to admit.
mostly because i lumped in all the sad clown ep's, as well as strictly leakage into the budget. plus this album was tracked with all live instruments, which we'd never done before, so it was a trial and error process. and i pay everyone well. as for the campaign, yep, expensive. 4 music video's (so far). 9 paintitgolds. a very expensive physical product - including a well produced live dvd. flying around the world (l.a., n.y., berlin, koln, stockholm, london, paris, and more) to do press and listening parties (to make up for the "no press advance" campaign). and a whole lot of high grade weed.

i ain't broke. i ain't rich.
b level actresses myspace me to ask if i wanna go to tequila bars.
former friends/indie rappers form both coasts act different around me now. 16 year old goth girls call me sell out. and i've been thinking about opening a boutique hotel in minneapolis that caters to entertainers, athletes, and hipsters who spend there money on dumb shit.

I like "Guarantees", man. Comcast has the video up in their On Demand channel.

After finishing like nineteen bong rips I was video surfing and saw it.

i had no idea about the sick promo budget behind this. in any event the success of the album is something to really be proud of. the money will come. you probably are more than happy with the outcome and everything else is a cherry on top.
