Well he somehow managed to connect everybody, which I got respect for. I think it all went bad for him after the incident with the gun at that show. Schoolboy Q called him out on it, shit pretty much fell apart after that The beef with ASAP didnt help either. Can you really blame a 21 yr old for fucking that up tho? Too much shine too soon.

Hopefully he'll figure it out cause I think he has potential.

connecting people via the internet is easy

holding them together in a way that a group leader is supposed to is another thing entirely

How old is Denzel Curry? I skipped through the album and it sounds great.

this is probably the most cohesive and listenable album/tape I've ever heard from the klan. bangs front to back. good quality control and dude can really rap.

ever since I heard Mischievous South and his verse on "Rollin In My Hood" I felt like Curry was the best out the Klan and possibly the best on the come up across the board. After hearing this album I think it's fair to say he's got the juice now ( :pause: )

Unlike the rest of the clan he's always sounded focused. I'm glad he left BRK behind.

Yeah, he's always been one of the best of the bunch and this is easily is his best to date. "Zone 3," "Parents," "Mystical Virus Pt 3," "N64" and "A Day In the Life" are all fucking great. Knew he was from around the same area as Travyon but never realized he was the kid's classmate.

If I remember correctly, he wasn't. But did know Trayvon through someone.

I only remember someone on twitter said trayvon was a Curry fan and Curry retweeting it but who gives a shit really. Album deserves its own thread instead of getting dumped in here.

I'm just assuming. Martin attended Carol City High for the 9th and 10th grade before transferring. Curry graduated from there this year.

So did SpaceGhostPurrp really retire? Or did he change his name and make Drake features?

Just caught up with it and I agree with most of this. Def the best and most focused and polished BRK-related think I've heard. The first stretch of 8-9 songs is an almost perfect realization of the potential of somebody who is clearly influenced by both three 6 and wu/gravediggaz. Slides off a bit in the last stretch but that's a common problem for music he emulates too, and the last song is a cloud rap banger for the ages.

I never realized it before but this kid's favorite rappers might be RZA, GZA and Killah Priest. RZA's early unhinged near-growl, GZA's dense rhyme schemes, Priest's social consciousnesses by way of conspiracy theory - all pop up here frequently, occasionally at the same time.

what's the consensus on Bones & Team Sesh? I was gonna make a thread but figured it wouldn't hurt to test the waters here before going outta my way. Has he ever even been mentioned on here before?

kinda what I figured. I posted a Dylan Ross thread that got no love which is sad because Dylan gets lumped into that post raider klan uninspired garbage but is quite the opposite because dude can spit and makes incredible beats.

Yeah, Bank$ is really in a different class than these guys rap wise. He's way more polished and professional with his craft. Him + Purrp is a really nice combination.
