keke maybe.. but he just dropped a album and that shit to me was like a miracle... i still couldn't believe it actually came out.. KOCH BITCH

as far as the others.. the body of work of zro mashs on them

allstar has become a cop out answer to the "who do you like from the south question" for hipsters imo...

dude has skills but nothing he has done even comes close to zro's worse drops...

from steel gangstaz on up since 95 zro has been making classic hood hits...

gmaab
abn
suc.. seriously come on... dude has a better catalog than 99% of current rappers

and please gtfoh with gucci manne and boosie.... they aren't even within 10 spots of zro on the best from south list...

Do you ever have any idea at all about what you're saying before you type it?
Coming from a (former?) meth head who visualizes himself firmly planted on Rza's nuts all day, I am going to take this comment with a grain of salt.

Gucci Manne, Lil Keke, Boosie and especially All Star deserve just as much attention as Z-Ro.

As Emp said, all those people have received their shine on these boards. Unfortunately they don't have nearly the amount of music as the ones I mentioned so that is more than likely the reason they don't get mentioned as much. All Star is nominated in one of our polls. He's relatively new to the game but I'm sure once he drops a studio album you'll have 50 threads and 49 of them will be created by Blastmaster.

Point taken.

I am not saying these artists are better than Z-ro, I am just surprised as too the amount of props he recieves on here.

Fully agreed. Moe was dope, but Ro has the best hooks in the game. Features, always killin it. Hooks on Crack and It Is What It Is were fire.

Hey! Ive been making All $tar and Boosie threads for YEARS.

Fuck you guys.

And yea, Z-Ro fans are pretty rabid. It seems like this forum is somewhat ignorant of the South still, but once people catch onto someone they are 100% in (Trae, BOB etc). Good stuff.

^ that would be me. But that is what I love about this place. It's impossible to know about everything and sometimes this stuff takes awhile to appreciate but this forum helps me with that.

Singing hooks was uncool until people started to listen to rap from Texas. Now, there's nothing cooler than singing hooks. Pimp C died a year ago, try tell his fans singing hooks is uncool.

I agree on Z-Ro. He's had a great year, with the ABN album, his own album, and that hook on the Scarface album. Best blues singer in the game.

Nate Dogg, Butch Cassidy and Kokane may think different about your first comment.

I'd take all three above Z-Ro.

Winnar = DeBarge brothers, their work with Quik is excellent and they sing better than any of these dudes, easily... EASILY.

Roger Troutman deserves a mention for Scandalous w/ Click and Real Playaz
w/ Spice 1.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

Yeah but in 2008 Z-Ro takes the cake. I was just making a point about how the hook game didn't get pop in the South.

Yeah that's dope. I rather someone here put together a comp than people downloading a bunch of random shit with the chance of being turned off after one sub par album or bootleg mix that is on that Russian site.
