Z-Ro > anyone singing hooks these days

Post by Philaflava »

He is already top 5 hook master in my book. Nate Dogg is probably somewhere at the top.

Nobody, I repeat nobody is better than him right now at singing hooks. I could listen to this man sing hooks over Dean beats all fucking day.

I find it hard to believe you have Devin The Dude as your signature and aren't hip to Z-Ro. It's equivalent to liking GZA and not knowing who Masta Killa is.

Max B is the best hookman in the game right now.

Texas hooksangers like Big Moe and Chalie Boy were/are better too.

Didn't Big Moe die?

These days would mean current as in the black guy singing has a heart beat to go with that soul.

I don't understand the love that Z-Ro gets around here, while other equally as good southern artists go ignored.

I though the one thing we didn't lack here was love for the South. Who doesn't get the love they deserve? We had tons and tons of threads about Cham, Z-Ro, Trae, K-Rino, Face, Slim Thug & :paulwall: throughout the years. Who deserves the love that ain't getting it?

Coming from a (former?) meth head who visualizes himself firmly planted on Rza's nuts all day, I am going to take this comment with a grain of salt.

Gucci Manne, Lil Keke, Boosie and especially All Star deserve just as much attention as Z-Ro.

There have been threads about all of those artists.

More often than not, this forum sadly resembles a soutbound sploogefest.

As Emp said, all those people have received their shine on these boards. Unfortunately they don't have nearly the amount of music as the ones I mentioned so that is more than likely the reason they don't get mentioned as much. All Star is nominated in one of our polls. He's relatively new to the game but I'm sure once he drops a studio album you'll have 50 threads and 49 of them will be created by Blastmaster.
