you don't know him very well, do you?

this is his 4th solo album, and he's been sing-rapping since 'Exit'.

here's a song that's both, and is fucking awesome.

Emcee Murder

and for something a little more MJ-ish, enjoy this

He had one song that I thought was okay. It had a video, that's how I heard it. This was like six years ago. I bought the album the song was on, the album was terrible, never listened to it again or thought about it until just now.

my problem isn't with him singing or with the rock/reggae overtones

it's just because he has no good or original ideas

"hip hop is my girlfriend"

great, man. really cool.

this new album of his coming soon is the final test for me. his last album was the same as the album before (which was his best work: Joyful Rebellion), but more watered down. if he Eminems again and repeats the same themes and song formulas, then i will know he's a talented cat but just lacking teh :spidey:

emcee murdah is a sick song but half that album sucks

not interested in k os until he stops singing
1. Nas

the music on this is good.
his lyrics are horrible.
have been horrible since emcee murdah.
he still makes cool songs though... man i used to be... sunday morning.
everything hes done recently seems so light to me.
i guess watered down is a good way to describe it.

he's gotten into some beef with local hiphop heads who wrote bad reviews of him

he's pretty good actually but caters more to non-hiphop crowds these days ... prolly cuz they pay

still biggest cat in :ohcanada: today in terms of sales

he used to be dope. i remember seeing him perform for like 15 people on his 'exit' promo tour. its cool he's getting bigger. I am not a fan on his singing instead of rapping. i don't have headphones at work today son can't check this track, but from the sound of it its all singing? wick wick wack

thanks for posting this. i love this song. made me buy the album, cant say i was feeling it beyond this song.

i saw him open up for handsome boy modeling school a few years back at irving plaza. it was pretty awful, he was basically a cover band, he did everyone elses hooks, beats and songs. it kinda sucked.

the dude went platinum in canada with joyful rebellion

in canada, platinum was 100,000 copies at the time of its release

that's pretty impressive

he is also arguably the drunkest musician in north america

i've seen him ripped numerous times

you could argue this as fact.

dude was approaching ODB levels of intoxications at his worst... he seems to be successfully fighting it somewhat.

kheaven was so drunk when he accepted one of his Juno awards (Canada's Grammy) he walked onstage with a plastic cup and was maaad slurry and semi-rude.

the next year, he won nothing.

It's hard to like this dude........ would love it if he just stuck to singing. His rappin sucks. It usually goes like this: levitate, hesitate, procrastinate.

This dude has some real great songs. The only album I ever got was Exit, which was a pretty dope album with some really solid tracks. I never got any of his other albums, altho some of my favorite songs from him have been off of those albums. I notice I tend to like his singing tracks more than his rap joints tho.

Thanks for the track.

Happy New YOTMB.
