I only mean it seems like it will be Kanye's least selling album.

I'm speaking relative to himself when talking about his sales, not comparing him to Royce the 5'9" when he does a mixtape song and puts Autotune on his voice

im sure any rapper puttin out music during these times would have it be their least selling album...
thinly veiled "who is Lil Wayne?" post?

fools want to blame the industry and the world... they should blame themselves.

great music still sells. so few of the greats are still great, and new people dont know what greatness is made of.

1. The U.S. economy is in the shit.
2. You can get pretty much anything on the internet if you know where to look.

These two facts coupled are a pretty serious threat to any artist or label trying to put out an album expected to go gold or platinum. That Kanye DID go platinum is a sign that no, the auto-tune is not dead. And just like anything, it can be used affectively. A whole album of it is over kill though and people like T-Pain (because Kanye has shown versatility) will most likely suffer in the future for their over reliance on the effect.

Going platinum in the download era is like selling a billion albums in 1986.

As long as T Pain and Jamie Foxx can continue to make tracks like this using auto-tune, it's not going anywhere soon. They are really making an art out of it. This track is too hot!

cuz album sales generally dictate what the masses are ACTUALLY into, not what people are saying on the internet.
