ok I always wanted to do this because you guys are real knowlegable.

examples.

or

I wanted to see if any you guys can come up with some good ones.

Hmm, could be. I know a fair amount of radio edit sounds were taken from James Brown recordings, so you're probably right.

EDIT: That was to Galvatron, thanks to 2Deph as well.

I haven't heard 'Come Clean" in years. But when I hear 'Oh my God' sampled,I think Q-Tip.

and the "DANGER!!!" vocal sample is o.d.b of course. i used one of his samples on my demo back in 96' i sampled "go ask ya go-damn father!!!" bit.
