Is Tech n9ne the most underrated MC skillwise?

Post by Dap »

Looking strictly at his skill set I'd say yes. The flows he can pull off are just ridiculous. His subject matter isn't really "hip-hop" sometimes but even then, I'll give him props for being creative. Drop your thoughts.

Edit: peep the last verse on this song to see what I'm talking about

Don't worry I've been lurking :phila: for a few years now, I know about the dickheadness around these parts. Why else would I sign up?

Yes. Definitely. Ever since Kool G. Rap had that 5x platinum album and bought his 9th Bentley, I've had to concede that fucking Tech9ne is the world's most skillful yet underrated rapper. Excellent point. Great post.

Tech N9ne is a BEAST, not a man. I saw him perform last year at SXSW, with the face paint and 7 rap monsters on stage beside him and everything. He is a marvel.

You aint gotta like him, but youse a queefbot if you don't respect his talent

He's underrated because the "mainstream" doesn't know who he is and the "underground" likes to ignore him for some reason.

Underpaid? Doubt it, he's co-owner of his label, tours extensively, and gets that Juggalo money. Ay-rab money, if you will.

I read that he just sold over a million records independently so I'm sure he's paid pretty well.

i don't think i could take anyone that says tech isn't skilled seriously. you can definitely not dig his music, some of it i'm not a huge fan of, but you have to give him credit for his skillset.

The better answer to the orignal question is T-Rock.
