So is this the first good album he's done or are you doing the "early leak hype" that gets done with every release?

I respect his swagga and his career, but thems WAAAAAAY too many guest appearances in my opinion.I can respect that because lords knows my ego isn't capable of me allowing more than 4 guest appearances on my projects!!!!

edit: quick note about track 17, I notice a few groups made tribute songs for biggie but no cali group made a song for pac. the one song that was made to honor pac was made by a jersey cat.

Jadakiss >>>> Your newest favoritest faddiest flowingest fuckstick

This guy is criminally underrated/unappreciated. Flawless delivery. Mischievious ass voice. Top notch writing.

Anyone who can outshine Ghost on a track like "Run" = ILLY.

Agreed but all of his albums up to this point have been softbatch. Hopefully he got it right this time but I highly doubt it.

Yea, I have a feeling half of the album is gonna be garbage. I'll wait and see until I buy it.

Waaaaaaaaaaay too many guest spots. Why can't rappers hold their albums down without help?

Jadakiss has the Ludacris syndrome. Dropping hot 16's on everyone else's shit but your own. That's not to say Luda hasn't had a few good albums but they're aren't up to par with his talent level. Same with Jada.

I think a lot of them could but they (or their A&Rs) think they need the guest spots for crossover appeal.

Jada has always been in a 'reach all markets' type of rapper, fortunately his crossover joints dont suck balls as much as Fat Joe or someone.

theres always a handful of tracks worth checking on each of his albums but I've got freestyles and mixtape joints of his that I play more

Haven't listened to the whole album, but based off of the underwhelming Nas and Styles P collabs I doubt this is as good as people are making it out to be. Beats are corny. He'd be better off pulling a Saigon and just getting 12 random beats from Statik Selektah; he's not gonna make a splash rocking over all these down South / synth beats anyway. And whoever said Jada suffers from Ludacris syndrome is spot on. Dude will never make an album as good as Gangster and a Gentleman.
