Spring/Summertime Music...

Post by Guun »

I know this thread has been done a million times before but the search on this site isn't comin up with anything (is it broken?).. but now the weather is actually starting to look pretty nice in the Northeast, what are everyone's favorite summer-time tracks of any genre?

PUTS - OST has been a consistent summer album for me the past few years..
DJ Frane is great..
Regulate G-Funk era and Doggystyle have always been summer classics as well..
Bonobo
Midnight Marauders
Del - Sunny Meadowz
obligatory fresh prince - summertime
Masta Ace - A long hot summer has some bangers on it

What does everybody else put on when the weather is nice?

^Word. "Homies" is a great laid back cut from them also. Those kids are easily the best "vato" style rap group ever, the only ones who pulled it off without coming off like caricatures.

I seen them live about 4 times... lets just say I've been to a lot of car shows when I was younger.

That's a weird choice. It gets more burn from me in the Winter/Fall.

Thanks for the mix, Thun.

the combination of masta ace's "da grind" with "h.o.o.d." right after it is the catalyst for a great summer moment.
