Jadakiss' New Album, Called Top Five, Dead Or Alive, Coming Soon

Jada says that in about 10 months, he will be coming out with another album, titled Top Five, Dead or Alive. (5.15.09)

giving your album a title like that only makes you look retarded when the quality doesn't match the assertion. (eg, Nas' Hip hop is dead)

Magneto, I have to tell you: Jadakiss's quote is almost word for word, what I said to him, after what you told me to ask, when I had my interview with him a few days ago.

I said "why don't you just lock down Alchemist, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, and shit in a studio and just blackout and give the hardcore fans the album they have been waiting for?", like your question was.

Jadakiss enthusiastically replied to that idea.

I mean, it's not like we're the first to tell him to do that, but I'm just sayin

in the context of our conversation, it was nice to hear. Listening to it now, I asked "what up with your next album?" and he said "I'ma go in, like you said, just get Alchemist, Primo, etc...."

I told him to make his Illmatic

this interview is not really supposed to be released for a while... but I'll be damned if this isn't the most inspiring, enlightening Jadakiss interview I've seen in a long time...

my favorite Jadakiss line of the year I think is:

"we're all in the same game, just different levels/
we're all dealing with the same hell, just different devils"

The next album from The Lox, The New LOX Order will tentatively drop during the fourth quarter on Bad Boy.
