I've know vordul since 95. There was a period when we were really good friends. While there has always been a darkness in him he was always a great person too. I haven't seen him in a few years but its my understand that he has some mental health problems. Some times they maybe exacerbated by drug use. He has a lot of ups and downs. Its one of the weird things when you see him, you never know which vodul you will see. Hopefully he can get the treatment he needs.

That's something else that's been talked about since the early '00's. People had heard about some sort of mental instability, but in the end he continued to create music which essentially made it seem like it wasn't that big of an issue. Hearing he's going through hardships now makes me wanna help the nigga out. Not necessarily monetarily, but more along the lines of guidance and piece of mind. Just like Pack said earlier:

Ive never personally had someone ask me for drug money. Ive lived all over the map Asbury Park, Kearny, Newark, & Bushwick Brooklyn for a little. I normally get the "I need money to buy some food/get on the train" ect excuse. I would imagine the "Give me drug money" approach to be much less affective imo.

But back to the topic.

Hope Vordul makes it through. I know addiction can be a very dark road to walk. Hopefully he sees the light.

This pretty much sums it up. I mean, there is more to it but that is basically the answer to the question being posed. As far as the drug of choice, I do not think that really matters but if you listen to his music you may already know. And a careful listen to the Cold Vein and either of his album but especially the last one, makes it clear that he is/has been battling a host of issues, and like many of us, is just trying to find his way to where he needs and wants to be. Sometimes he is on top of his problems and sometimes not. He is family to me and as such I have no interest in discussing it further but for everyone who expressed any type of support or understanding, thank you. And if you dont give a fuck, that is fine too.
