Corny R&B(ish)/hip-hop tracks you really enjoy

Post by Philaflava »

I'm not talking about some BEP bullshit, I mean tracks you kinda know are lame by somewhat respectable artists but still enjoy the fuck outta them.

Here are some of mine.

Snoop Dogg - Midnight Love feat. Daz & Raphael Saadiq
Ill Al Skratch - Summertime (It's All Good)
Nice & Smooth - Return of the Hip Hop Freaks

Nas 'Oochie Wally'
The Firm 'Firm Biz'
Jay Z 'Change Clothes'
Nutta Butta :pause: 'Freak Out' (off the Bulworth OST)
Jay Z & Mariah 'Things That U Do' (off Vol 3) I swear Im the only person that likes this song. Fuck knows why. Its got pan pipes in it.

alot of tunes that sample 80s funk/soul tracks actually. I'm not mad at the late 90s shiney suit era :megaman:

I first heard it on the b-side of The Bridge 2001 12" and hated it. 2 weeks later I heard it being cut up at a club and it made a lot more sense.

Worst clean edit ever though.

I love this track. First thing I thought of when I saw thread title.

'I'll give your motherfuckin goose pimples goose pimples.'

Some others...

Easy - Paula Deanda feat. Lil Wayne
Biggie - Mo Money
2Pac - How Do You Want It
LL - Doin It
