atrocious poster. You seem to have these non compos mentis(sp), bi-polar episodes in every single thread. Almost like you can't bare to not have the spotlight, regardless if all anyone can muster up for you is harsh criticism for your music, or childishly hostile insults for your barely readable rants on this forum. Some people seem to even proactively asperse your entire existence, as either a method of their own therapy, or because they truly feel like you hinder our ability to have a good experience on this forum.
A very oddly configured ego seems to be installed into your psyche. Somehow, in the face of all of the stones, bottles, and bricks being beaned at you incessantly, you still manage to have these strangely idiosyncratic feelings of self-importance.
Anytime anyone says your music isn't good, you write a gargantuan rant scoffing at the idea. Citing countless live performances (that no one on
was present for), where the unimaginable happened. You covered "The World Is Yours" by Nas and 16,000 people screamed with glee. Or you did some 14 syllable compound rhyme acapella at an open mic in Toronto, and left with 17 new contacts in your cellphone roledex.
You refuse to acknowledge the one simple truth though man: you are absolutely POWERLESS to this message board.
I don't have faith in your ability to grow as a human being the same way most human beings grow. I don't know you well enough to make the type of judgement I am about to make, and in all honesty, I don't really care. But I know for a fact that every time someone throws a mere 10 words in your direction, your animalistic cyber knee-jerk reactionary impulse is to throw 500-1,000 back at them. Or you at least type words and emoticons until you have processed and purged the giant chunk of emotion you were momentarily challenged by.
When will you realize though, Addi, that sometimes you cannot respond yourself out of the truth. Sometimes, well in your case, MOST of the time-- there is no response. There is no debate. There is nothing you can say that will alter the results you have received in a nearly flawless pattern throughout history.
It's a kind of cliche thing to suggest, but I will give it a shot. Maybe you can absorb this idea. Probably not.
If you continuously attempt to do the same thing, over and over again, hoping to get results that differ from the results you have been getting with each attempt: you are technically insane. No, not insane, like Wu-Tang insane, super dope stylistic insane rap attack shit. I mean, really really REALLY insane. Not like great artist, savant, Van Gogh, redefine music insane. I mean insane. Like normal logic, or even artistic logic, is not computable by your psyche.
You seem to have no problem going for the throat when it comes to other people's personal lives. Dead parents, etc. So I will use something that hits very closely to home as a prime example:
Your brother Conspiracy is powerless to crack-cocaine. Something in his childhood damaged him very deeply, and has rendered him unable to grab the horse by the reins and ride it out of his life. He uses crack to abuse himself, to destroy himself, and to please himself. It's crazy, circular logic, but he NEEDS it. It's his vice. He is fueled by it. He not only damages and effects HIMSELF by using it. He damages everyone around him. Those close to him, and those completely alien to him. He doesn't care though. He uses crack, at his leisure, because he is a selfish, self-loathing, powerless person. Yes, people around him suffer because of it. And yes, he suffers because of it. But he doesn't care.
It's the same with YOU and THIS FORUM.
You use this forum to abuse yourself. To destroy yourself. And to please yourself. You search for deep validation through us, and what we post, about you. But have never, and WILL never find it. It's a very perplexing, incomprehensible challenge to you, and you are drawn to feast on it. You have absolute disregard for those around you. You damage other posters, you abuse other posters, and you torture us by forcing us to endure you. It doesn't matter though. Because this isn't about anyone at all BUT YOU. If your brother Khari was constantly hearing that his usage of crack was a terrible, awful thing. He could easily dismiss it as "hatred" and "negativity" and him being "misunderstood."

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. And you do. Admit it. Then leave. I hate to be negative, but I think Gloss should ban you. For at least a month or so. I would be willing to bet that if we had a poll (which we should), it would be fucking unanimous in voting you out of here.
Do you think we would get those results for any reason other than us genuinely wishing you just didn't post on this forum? So we could finally have discussions about hip-hop in peace?
