No.

Possibly in my top 10 songs where "pirates" can be found in the title though.

favourites not best

and to the fags higher up in the thread i'm just curious. the song was huge for me in high school, and some heads i've come across completely dismiss it.

was nice to see mos do his and talib's verse on his current tour.

it's a pretty good song (especially considering kweli is rapping on it). nowhere near any top ten of anything though.

the beat makes it, nobody would really give a fuck about it otherwise

Would be a good song if you got rid of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Common.

and Common's verse.

somehow the current state of common, talib and mos def has ruined for me every single piece of music any of them has ever made save the hi-tek joint, resurrection, and that's pretty much it...i now cringe whenever i listen to ANYTHING else by these three rapping faggutz

the hook is good too - mos kills it Kweli is eh as usual

was a fucking banger when it came out and many blunts were smoked.

Its one of those songs that could easily sneak into my top 10

disagree wholeheartedly.

Common's verse on this song is on steroids imo.

Mos comes pretty nice on it as well imo.

The song overall is damn dope. Wouldn't make my top 10 though.

Common was killing guest spots around this time.

the verse on monch's "the truth" is another standout.

maybe i'm a stickler for this kinda shit but we're talking 10 best songs of all time here. "Resperation" is a good song. no doubt. although, i do agree with reason that it's hard for me to listen to any common or mos nowadays cause of how much i dislike their music now. and kweli? forget about it.
but top ten songs of all time??????
come on. i could name ten album tracks by juice crew members better than this song.

I don't think you're a stickler. You're just being sensible or honest or a non-newjack, non-faggot non-bitch-ass, non-corny-ass motherfucker.

It's a dope song, but top ten? naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Illmatic alone minus the genesis > respiration and I could think of a shit load of other songs to take the tenth spot
