love everything but the guitar on the title track and that damn sitar/stringed instrument on sea slug
they damn near incite anger when im driving because they bug me like a crotch itch

but jesus, the transitions in block's production have improved (or maybe even been added to his production outright) beyond belief
the electro elements and dirty 80s flair that a few of these "85% of the track is done so im gonna flip the shit out of the track and make you wish this was another full track on my album"-outro-type things are fucking bonkers

job well done
i only hate two sounds

thanksbrothertony

no, i can feel a sampled solo and i know you have the chopping skills of a skinnier, non-messican Maker but i guess im on the inside looking out in that i can hear myself play that without a drumbeat, but i would alter it to the rhythm in front of me rather than sticking to it
*shrug*

i guess im just plying for a gig.
im cheap.
*wink*

Jello's got skills on the guitar. Hit him up next time, Block.

But yeah, looking forward to purchasing this. Never heard anything good or bad on the last release so I never even gave it the time of day, but this looks to be different.

he's pretty fucking ill.
Ive always wondered what a hiphop based artist would pay for an actual illustrated cover. Most bands I know would have paid around 500 or more depending on how well the buzz was surrounding the artist. 100 - 200 dollars initially and then some more after the finished product was delivered.

Did you choose Omega and communicate ideas for what you wanted for the graphic or was it something he had ahead of time that you picked?

omega had made the art already and i saw it. it fit the idea i had for the album so it made sense to combine to the two.

Where does the layout-guy fit into all this? Did Bisc do the layout this time around too?

bisc has done a few for me but one of omega's homeboys did it for me. don't quote me on that though cause i could be wrong.

i know. it's your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it. no music is for everybody. mine certainly is an acquired taste.

also, I peeped your lastfm playlist and anyone who listens to that much moko only isn't really in my wheelhouse anyway.

I listen to all kind of shit m8. that's not the reason. the other day I bought the shawn lee / clutchy hopkins collabo album.....and was disappointed by it too btw.
but I agree it's not mandatory to rationalize things here.
seems like I'm the only one who didn't like it in this thread so you are doing pretty good....hope they buy it when it's released
ultimately I try to buy what I like when I can
while I'm at it I'm gonna revisit your old stuff. if I remember right the ep with Slug on it was pretty good

 at chillhood pretending to be aloof to the difference between legitimate criticism and thinly veiled attempts to grandstand before quickly backing off. Maybe by the next page this faggot will also stop pretending to be unaware as to why a popular poster who also makes generally well regarded music is being complimented for his new release.
