Pie chart, please.
no need. just imagine one big pie that reads "babies dead from full blown AIDS". simple math.
and and jaz.
Is your shit still mainly sample-based?
of course. what i look like? beetoven?
It's a necessary question.
By the time most white hip hop artists have released their 2nd album, they feel creatively stifled by the hip hop 'artform', despite usually not being proficient at it, in any aspect.
Glad to see you're not a folk singer, yet.

i'm not being sarcastic when i say i totally agree. it seems like white people can't wait to get out of hip hop once they've done it for a little bit.
while i'm not wiggering my life away i still do love hip hop (at least the old shit) enough to not abandon it. also, i don't play any instruments and the idea of singing seriously is comical.

it's hard to say in this day and age of trying to sell music. we're just trying something different. album leaks and illegal downloading are unavoidable so we figured we might as well quietly make the album available for download (they're not doing much promotion of the digital release) and do the press for the album at the same time. then, when the hardcopy drops, there will be a major push. damned if i know if it'll make a difference. i guess we'll find out.

that's a dope album, but I think Music By Cavelight is better.
Yeah, that entire album is basically the shit.

^ that, or it takes time to produce the physical finished product.
Speaking from experience (not comparing myself to Block), when I was making mix cds, from burning each copy, to printing out the cd label and jewel box cover, I could get about 10 done a day. So if he gives himself another 2 months, that sounds about right.
since we're talking about blockhead. anyone happen to have that organized konfusion - bring it on remix? used to love that shit. and no longer have it.
yea, i was just curious. I've seen a few heads release the digital copies a month or two before the store release. Was just curious if this is becoming standard or what.
