El is dope but he tends to loose his concentration on tracks from time to time. He's easily one of my favorite "new" rappers out there though. No rapper should put him on a track as a guest spot because he just embarrasses them, like he did on Little Bro's Hiding Places. Unless we're talking about that :copy: collabo where he seemed to have phoned in that verse with little or no enthusiasm.

He's definitely one of the most technically gifted, but I hear gloss he loses focus over the course of tracks/albums.

That mixtape of his that dropped a couple of months ago or something was ill as fuck. It was the first time I wasn't listening while looking at the clock.

Overall boring.

He has a voice that doesn't allow him to entertain for more than 20 minutes or 4 consecutive tracks. A lot of the production he has sounds the same, no offense to Black Milk. He is great in spurts.

Whatever happened to his Illmatic remake?
