Thanks to the two people who actually gave me track names. I was lookin to hear just 3 or 4 SONGS that might convince me he's worth my time as a fan. Just pointing me to an album tells me nothing. I wanna see if its worth it before i spend time on an album.

Okay. Can he just make 10 songs as good in execution, clarity of vision, adherence to topic, and beat selection as "elevator music" and just call it an album? Or is he yet another idiot who will forgo that move to make 900 mixtapes?

Yes. It is called "This Aint No Mixtape". I am on record (my own record that no one else cares about) as saying that its the best debut album in the last whatever number of years is impressive without making me look to foolish.

Okay. I just saw "mixtape" in your answer so I skimmed past it. I know better now.

^Okay, I'm converted now. All I needed to hear. Is his album on Itunes or do I have to go to "the hood" to purchase? Should I hire Magneto as a bodyguard?

Rog', if you do wanna pay for a copy of This Ain't No Mixtape rather than download it off mediafire or whatever, then you can cop if from the AmalgamDigital site as they put it out. It's only $6.99 or somethin'.

I wouldn't quite go as far as Blastmaster, but it's really, really good debut nontheless. Beyond Scared Of Monstas and Elevator Musik, this is another favorite off it :

^ Song is a little, um, I dunno. Anemic? But I'm not mad at it, seems much more like a nondescript end of the album track than a single.

I wouldn't bother copping from amalgam, my copy wasn't titled correctly and the levels for each song were way off. pretty lame of them to put it out like that.

Curren$y is dope tho, good to see him getting some more shine. him rolling with Dame now is interesting.

It's not that random- Ski produced 'under the scope' and is working with Dame Dash on that 24 hour karate school project (which features an appearance by Curren$y)
