No mention of it being a single, nothing about when it's coming out, the word Detox not even said

this will never be released and Dre will be working on Detox till his very last breath

there's tortured meticulous genius... then there's overanalytical insecurity... then there's Dr. Dre.

he's gonna Axl Rose himself if he doesn't pull the fucking trigger on something REAL soon. anticipation only goes so far. after that, it's just lack of focus and ridiculousness.

can he make the best rap album of all time? at this point, this record needs to be that, and nothing less.

Does anyone really still care ? I mean come on he'll never top the original Chronic and in my mind at least he'll never make another tune as dope as Deep Cover. We'll hear Detox after that Nas and Premier album.

Thing is, Chronic has Snoop, 2001 had Eminem, who's going to be the focal point of this album? Jay Z's song is only going to be going on about how he's been doing this for ages and he's rich and the greatest to do it.
If Dre had dropped something in 2003 when 50/G Unit/Game was still hot he could've had a decent album on his hands.

Dr. Dre talking about Detox. Okay, he says it's coming out in 2010 (like THIS year, not after the calendar flips)

yup. and I'm not even a fan of TI but thought his verse was heavy. think it was just a reference track though and seeing as its a year old I'd be suprised if its on the final version of the album when it drops in 2016

How is Dr. Dre confirming Detox is a 2010 event on CNBC Closing Bell?

This album is set up or failure, but if someone can do it Dr. Dre can. The problem is that I think the album will just be random artists appearing, whle his first 2 albums were a close group of artists. The Chronic had Snoop as the focal point, was Death Row's first album and introduced the G-Funk sound to the world. 2001 had Eminem, introduced Hittman, a reunion with Snoop and a different sound than anybody was producing at the time. What will this album have? The Game could have been that star on Detox, same with Bishop, but both are gone and even then both aren't the greatest of rappers. I'll definately check it out, but te anticipation for it is too high for it, or aqny other album, to meet.

yeah, but... it's not much of a big deal.

it should be at least half decent so it wont be like the rap version of Grumpy Old Men

'Under Pressure' is a logical title for Dre's first Detox single, ha. I'll give him that.

i heard 12 seconds of some song...

ALL I CAN TELL YOU , THAT YOU WILL UNDERSTAND, IS THAT THIS SHIT IS BIGGER THAN ANY SOUND OF SONG AND SINCE MOZART OR BEETHOVEN

orchestrated...

if Jay Z has good enough lyrics, Dre wins, FIRST SONG.

Detox was worth the wait...ill wait LONGER , if that snippet is indicative of where Dre/hiphop producers are going to be going with instrumentals in the next years coming...

it will be the new Aftermath/G-Unit/Shady dynasty era 2012 +

and I never dissed Dre. I KNEW, cuz he's a nigga like me, if I make you wait that long, I'll make it worth it, AT LEAST...WITH something extra..

since Chronic 2001 this has been being created...

but imagine what he DOESN'T USE/WASTES in the choosing of what to pick?

he probably has 5000 Detox songs , and will choose 18 of them...
