what a dope list. think it's the best so far, cuz i had a lot more trouble picking a track here than i did on the others.

went with "headbanger", which is just barely ahead of "uptown anthem" (naughty's best-ever joint), "don't sweat the technique", and "halftime".

Halftime was too obvious, and will get its due regardless.

As will Don't Sweat The Technique, and Uptown Anthem.

Had to go with Brand Nubian. Great, great song.

"Halftime" is my favorite on the list, but I chose "Fat Pockets" out of respect.

It was between "Halftime" and "Don't Sweat The Technique" for me. The lyrics cancelled each other out and both beats were Large Pro classics. I guess "Halftime" gets the nod.
The game is a oxymoron; we sold free-base

Holy crap. I cannot pick just one of those.
This poll is just mean :(

I picked Eric B & Rakim strictly because they're my favorite on the list, but I think I really wanted to pick MC Breed. I love that damn song.

This will be a blow out for Nas. I voted for him. But Brand Nubian's song is without doubt a masterpiece.

I just heard a new Target commercial for "Champion" clothing line. They rocked "Don't Sweat The Technique."

BTW, that was my pick. As good as "Half Time" is, a lot of you are just unaware of the other classic tracks listed.

i picked showbiz and ag, fat pockets remix. eventhough, halftime came out in 1992, most people never heard it until they heard illmatic. which was one year after "if i ruled the world" came out. hahaha

Don't Sweat the Technique.

I especially like this song because it's on one of my NBA video's during a montage of blocks and awesome defensive plays.

hahahah, yeah, my friend has that too, and that's always the first thing I think of when I hear that song.

Very cool that you'd mention it.

I picked "headbanger".

"Dont sweat the technique" is better than "halftime".

Both classic Large Pro productions though.

"Half Time" might be one of the first beats I rapped on and one of my favorite songs, but "Poppa Large (East Coast Mix)" is fucking insane. I flipped a coin and got Ultramagnetic.
