October 22nd
Looking forward to it, all 3 songs he's put out from it have been quality.
Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)
Tracklist?
Cartoon & Cereals was amazing. The Recipe was dope. And the thrid song was average at best. All three of them are going to be on the album? I have the strong feeling Kendrick is going to be Dre's Drake in the near future.

I don't Like when rappers sing more than they spit. The beat was decent, the concept of the song too but it was too drakeish for my taste.

Dope. If Outkast isn't going to make music, he might as well make it.

does that sample a very slowed down version of another day in paradise?

Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)
Yeah this one's kinda dope.
Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)
Very dope. K-dot walks the line between underground and mainstream very well. About time someone with a message gets radio play
Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)
Apparently promo copies are popping
Also there's a story behind the Art of Pressure leak. A few days ago there was a listening party for Good Kid Maad City in Chi-Town. The crowd was drunk or something and nobody gave a shit about what was going on. After a few tracks, Kendrick just left the party. Ab Souls said "we'll always be better than y'all. We see y'all Chicago". Later that night some angry guy from Chicago leaked the track. Word is ont the street this isn't a definitive version. Source: https://twitter.com/fakeshoredrive

Kendrick plays 3 songs, gets pissed because everyone is talking. Pulls the plug on computer and dips. But not before Ab-Soul dissed the crowd

Ab-Soul hit the crowd with the "we'll always be better than y'all. We see y'all Chicago" and dipped. I don't know what that was about.

The three songs we heard were dope, though. No live tweeting because phones were checked at the door.

Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)
most hip hop fans are fags, listening parties for decent rappers usually never go well for this one. shots out to the niga that leaked this track. its sick.
"i cant listen to any rap... i think it all is pretty much boring to listen to.... i would never listen to some underground or mtv-underground shit when im home washing dishes or whatever... but some people still like rap... god bless em, thats who buys my records!"- sole

Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)
off first listen I'm really not into that pure pressure joint. Liked all the other tracks that came out, but that shit just doesn't do it for me.

new Kendrick feat. Dre produced by Just Blaze. "Compton."
Dre's verse obviously written by Kendrick this time. Usually Dre sounds good, but Kendricks flow sounds awkward coming from Dre.
